Happy 1st Birthday to the Optic-Kleer Pod!

Optic-Kleer franchisees have always benefited from being able to park their vans in multiple locations in some of the most lucrative sites around their area, such as supermarket car parks. However, there was such demand in one key location in Boston, Lincolnshire, that the Optic-Kleer team decided to install their first-ever fixed location premises.

Just over a year ago, the Optic-Kleer “Pod” arrived in the car park of the local B&Q and has been a major success.

As a new concept, the Optic-Kleer team has treated this as a company-owned experiment to start with and see if the idea really does work. They’ve even brought in a cross-section of franchise owners to guest operate the Pod to try out different methods and get their feedback on how well it works, before handing it over to Michael Cruz, who has been with Optic-Kleer as a franchise for over 12 years, and now runs his franchise business from the Pod.

It’s a great example of franchisors like Optic-Kleer continuing to invest in new innovations to improve their network’s performance and help keep all their partners at the very top of their game as business owners.

Having been thoroughly road-tested for over a year, “The Pod” is now available for present and future franchisees to introduce into their existing and new territories.

The core business model of mobile units at multiple key locations across a territory remains the same. It has worked for many years for dozens of franchisees and still plays an important role in building a reputation for convenience and ease, but this is a huge step up for any franchisee looking for large-scale growth in the long term.
