Optic-Kleer’s mission is to empower our franchisees with the knowledge, tools and confidence to build successful, life-changing businesses. Providing the very best quality windscreen repairs and customer service UK-wide, with a lifetime of support and a culture of collaboration.
What’s a franchise?

There are thousands of people in the UK running a franchise. You might think it is just another corporate branch, but it is actually a business owner who has invested in the right to operate that brand in an agreed location with the franchisor – the person who owns the overall brand identity and operational systems.

A franchisor will have put all the time and resources in to developing a successful business model. A franchisee invests in the franchise and operates it, normally in an exclusive territory, with initial training and ongoing support provided by the franchisor.

Top 3 reasons why you should become an Optic-Kleer franchisee

  1. We’ll get you up and running

Not only do we provide full training on repairing windscreens, we also help you set up your limited company. We professionally map and define an exclusive windscreen repair territory to suit you. After your classroom and in-field training, you’ll be ready to earn from day one but you can always turn to us for advice.

  2. Value for money

Franchises charge a management service fee to cover a range of ongoing costs associated with helping franchisees to trade. Our fee is one of the most competitive, thanks to our market-leading web-based admin system, at 17.5% of gross revenue which is payable monthly. This fee covers consumables and... Read more

  3. Full training given

What you’ll need to build your Optic-Kleer franchise

  1. 1

    An investment of £19,950

The Optic-Kleer franchise package gives you a business and the know-how to start trading from day one, plus we’re here to support you for the life of your business. This extremely good value fee of £19,950 + VAT (which can be reclaimed) includes all comprehensive start-up package and everything you need to operate a windscreen repair business. Our franchisees can access government start-up loans to help you finance 100%, with up to £25,000 available.

  2. 2

    A positive attitude and approach

To make the most of your franchise, you need to be willing to give it your all. Whilst sales or customer service experience would be useful, it’s not necessary for you to have all the skills you need to operate the franchise. You will gain the knowledge and confidence that you need during your training. The most important thing is a positive attitude and the ability to build a quick rapport with your customers. Remember... people buy from people!

  3. 3

    Commitment to your business

At Optic-Kleer, the commitment is not only a financial one, but also a personal one too. And it works both ways. Our franchisees want to succeed and build a successful business for now and for their future, not just over the short term. In return, we will commit to providing you with our renowned support structure, both in launching your business and developing it. We’re in it together.

Next steps to becoming an Optic-Kleer franchisee

  1. 1

    Learn.

Review this website thoroughly and request our brochure. Be sure to seek answers to any questions you may have. There’s no hard sell – our priority is to ensure you’re 100% confident in your decision. As well as talking to us, we recommend that you speak to your trusted family and friends - it’s really important you have the support of those around you when you embark on a new business venture. You should also carry out some initial market and industry research to identify the potential and demand for windscreen repair services in your area.

  2. 2

    Discover.

Speak to us about the availability of a franchise in your area and arrange a discovery day in Boston with us. Together, we will look at your options and map out your exclusive franchise territory. You will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

  3. 3

    Due diligence.

After the discovery day, we encourage you to speak to our franchisees about their experiences. We also recommend that you seek professional business and legal advice so that you are sure you fully understand your responsibilities.

  4. 4

    Commit.

Buying a franchise is a serious commitment so you need to be totally sure this is what you want to do. You will sign the Optic-Kleer deposit agreement and pay a refundable deposit of £1,000 + VAT. The franchise agreement will then be prepared ready for you to sign and you will pay the remainder of your franchisee fee.

  5. 5

    Train.

Together, we will agree your dates and begin the preparation for training. The initial training process is 5 days, split between the head office in Boston and an in-field introduction. We then offer training on a continual basis, to make sure you’re fully up to date with the latest products and techniques.

  6. 6

    Earn.

You will leave us fully trained and ready to start trading. We will have already organised the initial sites where you will be working, so all you need to do is go out to work and then we’ll turn your invoices into income!
